February 4th 2008

  • Plan to integrate TV into your March TV flights or buy a flight of TV.

February 11th 2008

  • Print brochures and posters.
  • Make contact with partners in your state to create a dynamic and in-depth campaign.

February 18th 2008

  • Contact Governor’s office to sign Proclamation.
  • Contact TV and radio stations to ask them to run the ads as PSAs if paid flights aren’t possible.

February 25th 2008

  • Start to distribute printed materials to Lottery retailers, public agencies, casinos and other partner companies.
  • Buy media to run print ads in local or statewide newspapers the week of March 6-12.

March 3rd 2008

  • Insert brochures into state employees pay checks (as an example of a potential partnership within your state.)
  • Send TV ad and radio scripts to stations. Place all print ads.
  • Send out Media Advisory.

March 9th 2008

  • Hold press conference.
  • Issue Press Release.

March 9th –15th 2008 Problem Gambling Awareness Week

  • Air TV ads, run radio PSAs, and run print ads.

April 2008– February 2009

  • Continue to air TV, radio and print throughout the year.
  • Reprint and redistribute brochures and posters as needed.
