For maximum impact and results, we recommend you work with partners to create a comprehensive statewide campaign. Possible partners include: Corrections, Education, Health and Human Services and Drug and Alcohol Treatment agencies in your state. You may collaborate with other interested groups such as social service agencies, professional associations and gaming organizations to help fund production of printed materials and place media.
There are three distinct audiences you will want to consider:
1) Governor, Legislature and Media: Included on this web site are examples of a Governor’s Proclamation, a Media Advisory and Press Release. PDF files of each are available here so you can customize them for your state.
2) General Public: TV, radio, print ads and brochures are available on this web site. You can download the print files, customize them for your state and print in small or large quantities as needed.
3) Health Care Professionals: A print ad and brochure are available on this site for you to use to help educate internists and general practitioners about symptoms they may see in their patients that could indicate a gambling problem. |
